First of all, we are humbly grateful for this temporarily transition, due to repairs in our apartment. We applaud the all of the front desk staff, housekeeping, security guards and maintenance for quick responses to any concerns that needed to be addressed. Our first impression confirmed that during this transition, our lives could continue without any grievances. We applaud the front desk manager (Tiara) for overseeing and managing difficult on spot problems, deescalating conflicts amongst guests, and always smiling as well, as pleasant. Our most concern is that difficult guests refused to be compliant with the CDC guidelines for COVID. This would include not wearing mask, not being compliant with notices posted in all languages, overloaded the elevator, disrespectful to staff and guest of the hotel, deliberately trashing hallways and elevators. All of the front desk staff, worked tirelessly to ensure this protocol was followed and maintaining a clean building. To ensure safety is addressed for all staff ( especially the front desk staff), more security guards should be posted ALL TIMES. Going in and out of the hotel, I always concerned, wanting to make sure the front desk ladies were safe and okay. That being said, we would not hesitate to visit again. We thank-you for your hospitality!:)

The staff was insincere, overcharged me, the housekeepers left a mess and came in when I wasn't there, 100 was missing and nobody even offered a discount or reimbursement. There is no swimming pool. The place was excellent though, full one bedroom apartment with nice views and nicely furnished. Cable and flat screen semi smart tvs, business amenities like wifi, computer printer fax all readily available, basic continental breakfast, indoor free parking, if they converted to an apartment building I would love to move in... Right across the street from the police station so that deters stamford's criminal element from physically creeping around the area, so in other words, safe. I'll be back whenever I'm in Stamford. My new home away.

I am a neighbor of this hotel and police get called there every night. I walk my dog and a table was thrown out of a hotel room window at the top floor. No one picks up the phone. They don’t clear snow or ice and leave it be. Constant high school parties & drug trapping happening in the rooms. The place is like the Cecil Hotel of Stamford

Suites are huge and very apartment like. The hotel decor and furniture is antique style. The breakfast is very basic and doesn't seem fresh. The front desk lady in the morning shift is super noisy. She keeps yapping loudly on the phone and gives a bit of a rude vibe.

My daughter and I came to Connecticut as my daughter had surgery with a surgeon/specialist for a rare disorder @ Stamford Hospital. We were referred by the surgeons office to stay here. Tara, The manager, was amazing as well as the majority of the rest of the desk staff. The location is great, in the heart of downtown Stamford. Although the hotel is in much need of repairs, updating and a deeper cleaning, the room was large with a full kitchen. This met our needs for staying over 20 days. Upon arriving I I wiped everything down in the entire room including door knobs, Light switches, etc. Unfortunately, our stay was essentially very stressful and ruined by gypsy travelers which were allowed to essentially take over the hotel every evening! Refusing to wear masks in the hotel and elevator, allowing their children to run amok Throughout the hotel, holding the elevator hostage, loud conversations with in the hallway and in and out of doors slamming them, etc. , Zero awareness for anybody around them all hours of the day & night. We personally had to call the police twice for help, and I know the police came at least two more times during our stay to remove several rooms full of the gypsies. The owners seem more concerned about selling rooms, which during the pandemic I can appreciate from a business perspective, however they are losing quality extended stay guests as a result! Many complained and some found other hotels during our stay. The only reason we did not move was because I could not find another hotel that had a full stove, and moving my daughter after she was discharged from the hospital after having major abdominal surgery would’ve been difficult. It was a horrible experience. I have let our surgeon’s office know of the experience as well as people within the group Who are awaiting surgery and traveling from all over to Stamford.

Rooms huge but very dated. No pool indoor or out! Jacuzzi tub small and dirty! The front end attendant made this place much better. Location was very accessible to downtown which was jumping on a Saturday night. I dont think I would stay there again.

I have stayed in the Stamford Suites on two occasions. Both times for extended periods of at least six weeks. Both times I was delighted with my stay. My suite was spotless and cleaned every day, with the towels replaced and I think the bed linen changed too. I had an allocated parking spot in the underground garage and the door staff were always very pleasant. I thoroughly enjoyed my stays.
