Stan is a great and very knowledgeable piano teacher. I feel like I've seen a lot of progress in a short amount of time. The lessons taught go well beyond the bare minimum to hit the notes and read the music as he patiently shares his expert technique - not just how but also why you would apply a specific technique to each piece.

He's always been very patient and encouraging and has a great sense of professionalism and courtesy. My son looks forward to his lessons every week and always leaves wanting to get started on the assignments Stan gives him for the week.
