What a GREAT job they have done here. I’ve been here for the different iterations before and this one is by far the best! The outside patio and tent allow for so much outside seating, great as the weather gets warmer.. The view of the lake is incredible. And the little kids visiting were enjoying playing in the sand. The staff were attentive and very friendly and my tacos were DELICIOUS!! Short rib, pork belly and Korean pork . Fried Oreo dessert was also excellent. Was a beautiful night to reunite with friends and the atmosphere at The Alibi was on point!! Perfect hangout spot on the lake in Byram! You won’t be disappointed !

Great spot! My boyfriend and I were looking for a fun new spot to try out and this is the one! First off, I love the nautical decor and bright blue color. The vibe is very friendly and chill. Unfortunately, we came in too late so we couldn’t order food, but I will definitely like to come in next time for food! We had a few drinks. I had the Lackawanna Sunrise (which is basically a tequila sunrise) and my boyfriend tried the Summertime Sadness (which is like an iced tea with bourbon) and a classic old fashioned. The drinks were all very good. The waitress was friendly and attentive, without being over-bearing. I love that they had a live band playing. All in all, I can’t wait to come back here over the summer to sit outside!
Beautiful decor and good eats. The staff is attentive and they hire entertaining live musicians. My only critique is that they serve their tacos on a wooden block (it gets messy); so be sure to request a plate if you order tacos. I'll definitely be coming back. This place is great.
We've been here a few times now, and each time is better then the next especially as they get over some of the growing pains being a new restaurant. The food is flavorful and the stuff is wonderful from the orders to the servers and host. The whole vibe is perfect for a casual lakeside restaurant
Beautiful evening to dine by the lake with the outdoor heaters on the deck. Covid precautions are well managed so I felt comfortable with the socially distance tables. The food was very good. The mac n cheese egg roles were crisp and the calamari was delicious with a kick to it. The calamari rings were not chewy like some dishes can be. They have a delicious Bloody Mary ! Always nice to have a nice meal and drinks by the light of the moon reflecting on the water.
Excellent atmosphere that is enhanced by the charm of staff like bartenders mike and Amanda as well as the attentive ownership/management team. You can lounge lakeside, enjoy live music on multiple sun decks, or belly up for a sporting event at the bar. This place is great anytime for any reason but it really hits the spot if you're craving a view or outdoor dining .
Nice decor and nice location. really wanted to like this place,but our experience was terrible. They didn't have our first choice appetizer and were inflexible about our 2nd choice (they literally told us "the kitchen is not in a good mood"). The margaritas were watery. The nachos would have been good if the chips weren't stale. Kids burger came without pickles or fries even after we specifically asked for them. There were at least 11 staff and we were one of three tables but we still waited at least half an hour for our lunch. Our impression is that someone put a lot of effort into creating a beautiful restaurant with an appetizing menu... And then they walked away... Because no one there seemed to care about the customers.
Great customer service is key in any organization and they have got it down to a T. Great out door vibes with food that is wonderfully prepared and presented
