I celebrated my graduation yesterday in this gorgeous place. happy to tell that it was a astonishing evening and the venue was absolutely the reason for this strong event. The waiters contributed in a gorgeous way, the food was great and my guests were so happy. We shall no dout come back again for more celebrations. thanks very much.

Great little venue with a deceivingly amazing lineup of preformers and artists. Prices are decent. Food is excellent, especially the coconut shrimp. Fast and friendly service. Thrilled to have a place like this less than 20 minutes from my house.

Had a fantastic experience in this spot with my son. The food was served quick and the service is just awesome. Prices are fair.

Small and intimate venue for live performances, went there for the Carach Angren, Morst Principium Est and Wolfheart show, on the metal genre perspective it was a good experience. By the entrance on the front porch they have an area with a second bar where bands sell their merch and you can meet their members, service at the bar was good considering that there was only one lady by herself, they have some tables with good view of the stage, limited beer selection and food OK, sound was more than acceptable

First time here was this past Sunday night. This is a tough venue to review. On one hand it's everything I wanted from a NJ punk show. Small but not too small, dark, great crowd, and good people. Sound was pretty good too. Plus the price for admission was right. One the other hand I have 2 major knocks. First is their sound guy that night was having a rough night. Now I don't know if that comes down to him or the bands but during the band I went to see their guitar kept cutting in and out. It definitely hurt the flow of their performance. Second, and probably more importantly, is their "stage" is about 6 inches off the ground. So if you're a person of normal size, i'm 5'8, good luck actually seeing the band if you have anyone taller in front of you. I was quite literally next to the stage on the right where bands come on and off and couldn't see the band. Everyone in front of me was taller than me. I get that isn't necessarily the venues fault but it hurt my experience. If someone one was playing here and it was my only option to see them, i guess i'd go back. However if I had other venues to see a band, Stanhope House would be a last resort.

Great venue. Frequently too loud. Sound level interferes with enjoyment.

Went to the B Street Band show which was amazing. Great sound. The grilled chicken wrap was huge and so was the hamburger. Waitress was able to handle getting everything out hot even with the large crowd.

Music was great, however the staff was very rude to my party and I. My friend was unjustly cut off after just one beer and the rest of the night security followed us around the premises. It was very unnerving and took away my ability to enjoy the show. When i politely asked them why their staff seems to see us as a problem, i was met with the threat of getting kicked out for simply asking a question. Loss of patronage as we will just not be returning. Hire some folks with smiles on their faces.
