The best known public square and the center of the city located in the Old Town of Bratislava, many landmarks, tourist attractions, and historical sites are situated here or nearby. The Roland Fountain and Old Town Hall are just two of the attractions. If you have a city travel pass or ticket, the terrace or tower of the Old Town Hall is accessible where you have the better view of the city particularly the Bratislava Castle.
A very small, though, cute and cozy main square. This year (2020) has the most beautiful christmas tree.

Nice and original. Many historical buildings, from Gothic to Art Nuveau eras. Plenty of cafés and bars Lovely fountain. Do not miss street art - Napoleonic solder reclining on beclnch, Schōne Naci, and others.
Bratislava is a small city but the Old Town is really charming and the main square has a nice open space, with nice architecture and colorful buildings, restaurants, church, nice souvenirs stores and funny statues as the Napoleon’s soldier that according the legend he was left behind Napoleon’s army in 1805 when fell in love with a local girl and usually there are a small line to take picture with him. If you are planning to visit Bratislava you will find the main square easily and this place leads you to other main points to be visited in the city, and if you are not planning to have a meal in the main square you should at least visit one of the pastry stores around that are really delicious! Center of historical Bratislava with Old Town Hall dating back to 15th century and famous click tower that can be seen from most of the inner city. There is also a nice Maximilian Fountain but operates in summer months only. Few restaurants and cafes can be found on adjusted streets, but seem to be pricey or mainly counting on tourist \support\.
Great to walk around, sit down to have something to eat, buy souvenirs or just people watch
