Now serving as a hostel for the town's down-and-out and/or homeless. Hence comes with the usual assortment of never-asleep speed freaks and thieves. That said; as the hostels in this town go; this is probably the best alternative if you have a choice.

Veey unfriendly "welcome"...you just to have patience to unerstand their ideas. Noizy refrigerator, strange breakfast, no AC, cannot open windows. I think it was cheap, though! Positive: free parking!
Cheap place to stay, not bad located since Stavanger is quite small. The reception was only open from 7 AM to 1 PM. After that you have to enter from the backyard with a code. The room had no A/C so I had to open the windows at night.
Lovely and helpful staff. Perfect for a weekend, cold and hot water tanks on each floor with tea and coffee, fridge in room, very warm bathroom and free car park.
Breakfast was good. The room was very warm and we were unable to open a window. Free parking is available if you're there in time and city center is at walking distance.
Rude welcome, terrible standard on the room. Shower most likely to give foot fungus. Drafty room even with the window closed. The whole place looks like a health hazard. Common area is just two chairs in a hallway. Ventilation is extremely bad and I felt it the minute I entered my room that my asthma gave me more issues. Avoid if you value your health
Cosy and calm place to stay for a night. Clean and big enough for it’s price. Not very close from the center but easily accessible. The breakfast is suitable according to the price also. Perfect for a couple or friends as the entrance is through a code. It has a lot of stairs so it can be an issue.
Everything was good. Clean and neatly. Nice breakfast included in the price. You can get to the centre about 10 minutes on foot.
