What a beautiful, classic hotel with so much attention to detail. We had a wonderful room, great service, and fantastic breakfasts (especially the scrambled eggs on Saturday). The desk staff were very friendly and helpful! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

Definitely the best hotel in Stavanger ! Perfect location. Super friendly, helpful and very nice stuff. Beautiful and cozy rooms stylish with perfect taste. It is really pleasure to stay over at this place.
Nice hotel and service minded staff
We booked the Victoria Suite for 1 night for a discounted price during the re-opening sale. The room is stunning, comfortable bed, a beautiful bathroom with both shower and bathtub, and well stocked amenity's. The only downside is that the room is located on level 2, directly above the lobby bar. The beat from the lobby music is easily heard, and we needed to ask them to turn is off at 01 am. For a signature suite, that is poor planning. Breakfast is well stocked, fresh and good tasting. Would I be back? Yes, no doubt, but next time I will stick to a regular suite.
Recently renovated hotel with a great location, within walking distance to central Stavanger sights. Street-facing rooms get very noisy on the weekends with nearby bars and clubs, and bathrooms are also very small. Housekeeping seems to be optional/on request? Rooms also get warm easily without functioning AC/temperature control. Reception staff was friendly for the most part, but did not give or keep track of information properly. Fabulous breakfast with many options to choose from. All in all, a good hotel but some start-up issues that need fixing to ensure a smooth visit.
Cozy hotel with a lot of history. That makes it charming, but also means there are times that it shows its age. The good: amazing breakfast, connected bar and BBQ restaurant, great location, and our bed was very comfortable. The bad: our room smelled musty. Like the wood in the walls had too much seawater-air exposure. We got used to it after about an hour, but it was a little unpleasant when we first arrived. I would expect better from this price point, but I also think not all the rooms are this way. Another note: There are parking possibilities, but it's only cheap if you time it carefully (nighttime is free at a nearby lot that is sometimes full).
Good location. The room is clean and the breakfast is good. We were quite surprised that no aircon/air ventilation system in the room but it was perfectly fine during winter time.
Nice place, old fashion. Nice staff. Very central location.
