The museum has been renovated in a very nice way but it doesn't houses any real artefacts unfortunately. The history of the abbay is explained in a very educational way. The temporary exhibition of national geographic was worthwhile.

Excellent display of the history of the Abbey. Worth getting the audio guide. Current temporary exhibition of National Geographic photos (Oct 2020) is well worth a visit. Nice cafe. Three different museums in one building (Abbey history, F1 Francorchamos & Apollinaire!)
3 different musea in 1, free entrance with museum pass. I loved it, worth visiting
National Geographic exhibition was very well presented and extremely interesting. Text in English and French. History of the Abbey well laid out but pandemic restrictions made multimedia aspects inaccessible. Text for this part only in French.
Good collection of cars. The displays could be updated...
Nice piece of history. Very wel documented. You have audioguides at the ticket desk. It has a good fixed offer, but also temporary exhibitions.
The Abbey of Stavelot and the city is an interesting cultural place in the middle of Province of Liege. The old Abbey was reconstructed recently and currently hosting a museum and exhibition hall. That's a nice place to share with the family. The restaurant inside is recommended!... They are friendly and very kind.
A beautiful building & surroundings. The museum isn't worth much. You pay too much for what you get! The expositions are not of a good quality. The bar is a bit expensive & the staf is not friendly!
