My family and I have come to this small mountain airport several times over Labor Day Weekend for the WILD WEST AIR FEST. There's a car show, a small scale air show, food, and family activities. It's a good time for all ages.

Poor service. Had to land on our way to Denver due to weather. No Uber/Lyft available to town/hotels. The staff was not helpful at all. He said we could rent a car there but couldn’t give us a price. Offered us a courtesy car but it needed to be returned in 2 hours (we landed 3pm, so we wouldn’t stopped anyone else from having the ability to use it that day and would have had the car returned by 6am the next morning). The next morning, Uber still was not available, taxi company doesn’t work on Mondays. We were going to catch a bus that would get us within a mile of the airport. We called at 7am to see if someone could take 5 minutes out of their day to pick us up a mile away, the answer was no. When we finally showed up at the airport, it was not busy at all. Thanks for the hospitality...we’ll go to Hayden next time.
