Comfortable entrance to the lake, plenty of space on the grass beach, restaurant nearby,nice views

Nice little place to spend the day in the sun. There's a grassy bank that leads to steps into the lake. It gets deep quite quickly so no good for paddling. There's a fairly high spring board as well. The two small pools are good. There's also a decent unsupervised water slide. The lake itself is beautiful. Fairly clear, water not too cold (early August). Really fantastic swimming. Cocktail bar serving snacks and burgers. Had to pay for parking as well as entry to the Strandbad but neither were too expensive (I keep imagining how much something like this would cost in the UK - probably 5x as much). We hired a boat from a place around the corner. You could get pedalos there too.
