My girlfriends room mate recently got mugged at knife point in the car park / basement of Mullerhof (one of the buildings managed by Marantha Behuising). Since the mugging happened we have been pushing for better security to be put in place but have been told that it will take up to a month until such a change can be made. Since the mugging, three cars have been broken into in the car park basement and the same guy that mugged my girlfriends roommate has been seen again in the same place. This is not acceptable and my girlfriend and her roommate no longer feel safe staying there. This in my opinion is poor management as they are unable to organize a short-term fix to make tenants feel safer.
