Sue is amazing! She took in the waist on a dress that was too big and now it fits beautifully. I also had a dress that had an ill-fitting neck line and Sue thought to add trim around the neck line and it turned out even better than the original! She is creative, responsive, and delightful to talk to.

Let me start off by saying that I am a 4'9 adult. I have gotten a LOT of clothes altered to fit my smaller than average frame and most of my experiences have been less than ideal, several ending in clothing being unwearable after the alteration. So, I was wary visitng Sue. I have now visited her at least three times and reccomended her to friends. She is professional, highly talented, and her communication is outstanding. Her space is actually comfortable to visit AND it is orderly. She has done more than one zipper repair for me at a very reasonable price and altered a trickier multi-layered piece for me to perfection. After more closely looking at the piece that I brough in to have altered, instead of guessing at what might work, she had me try it on and pinned it to just how I wanted it, no assumptions. As a craftswoman herself she is passionate about making sure that crafts like sewing stay alive and also teaches classes! 10/10 have and would recommend.

She is an excellent seamstress who knows her craft. I came in for repairs and was amazed at how quick and efficient she was. She is very knowledgeable and she does quality work. I would definitely recommend her!

Sue is a craftswoman of the highest caliber! She works fast and for an unbeatable price. She put in two custom pockets for my jacket, and they look as if they belonged in the original design. I cannot recommend her highly enough!

I went in to have my fanny pack waist band strengthened as it had torn away. The owner had me sit and did the job right there. She did a great job and didn't charge me anything for the repair. I was happy and impressed. Many thanks for the no charge job.
