I was out, few pints on the old Mersey, when unfortunately my shoe heel, watch battery and key snapped. Simultaneously!!! I was in tears from this predicament (even thought about jumping in the Mersey), when I stumbled onto Coombes. When my heel broke, Coombes was there. When my key broke, Coombes was there. When my watch battery died, Coombes was there. I wouldn’t have survived without the mighty Coombes. I love them.
Just got two pairs of shoes done here. Very reasonable, very helpful, fantastic outcome and a fantastic service. Thrilled with my 'new' shoes. Also, they were a bit scuffed and they cleaned them up a treat without even being asked to. Timpsons were going to charge me thrice as much! Happy to support independent businesses. Definitely recommend.
