Bought 10 various household electrical items and all 10 were broken beyond economic repair. While you expect some bad goods in an auction, statistically some of my lots should have actually been operational. The pictures were very misleading and due to COVID no physical inspection was possible. Pristine boxes that look unopened in images arrived open (inside the outer cardboard box) and deformed due to stuffing the goods in. The wording to describe the goods is designed to be misconstrued -\Used/Customer returns\ - these goods are not 30 day returns. All of my items indicated months of heavy usage including mildew/Rust/electrical burns/paint and coffee powder all inside the electrical goods. This leads me to assume that these are warranty returns with serious faults that are uneconomical to repair. No doubt that this is their primary supply and earns them a quick buck by duping customers. Any complaints were responded by the Auction get out of jail free response \Sold as seen\ and \We recommend you inspect the goods before bidding \ Unless you are a parts scavenger I would avoid this scrap dealer. Unfortunately I read their reviews too late and am out of pocket. If you have any doubts around my review please read the others, the pattern is pretty obvious.

Misleading pictures and descriptions.90% of items are defective fact that they never mention in their auctions, even if they have this information. Have a look at the picture taken from their site which shows on the left corner a label which said Defect but on the description is nor mentioned. I bought a Lawnmower which came with 3 missing parts (can't be used) never mentioned that was with missing parts think that they knew having taken the picture inside the box, and at the same auction I bought an iron which was defective as well. SO, AVOID THEM!!!!!

This is the first time I’ve been back in over a year due to the lockdown etc - and the items I bought we had to collect from the new site, Corrie way. And wow what an improvement on the collection system - usually you would have to take a whole day off just to collect a few bits but now you just turn up at your allotted time and load up and off you go. I’m very impressed indeed. So well done Simon Charles finally a brilliant collection system!

Arranged a collection at the new Corrie Way site, I was in and out in 10 minutes and was asked by three different staff members who were passing about their business was I ok and did I need help . It was a cold wet morning but the chaps were smiley and genuinely interested if I needed help. A great experience all round and a massive improvement from the old Mill. The staff at the head office are always helpful and pleasant . An overall great way to purchase something .
