Just to echo what's been said, the surgery really needs to take onboard the evident issues with the appointment booking system... it really doesn't work and is sadly blighting a very good practice (the doctors and nurses are excellent). The non-urgent phoneline is consistently engaged until the afternoon, as there are clearly too many callers for the number of handlers. If you're lucky enough to get through at this point, there are no appointments left so have to go through the process again the next day. I have been through this process on several different days over the last month or so, with exactly the same outcome. I've ended up having to use an external telephone consultation service on Saturday mornings twice and, though the practictioners I spoken to have been very helpful, I have still not got to the root cause of my illness and need a proper consultation. This is also not an efficient use of resources (consultation services are very expensive to the NHS). I would like the practice manager to understand that there are organisational issues with this system, which need to be addressed. The patients require and deserve a better service than this.

I've only put 1 star because you can't put zero stars, an absolute waste of time, even if by some miracle you manage to get through, the Hitler like robotic receptionist give you a feeling of worthlessness, absolutely atrocious service. I'm certain the phones are taken off the hook at 08.29 , probably to allow friends family to get through on a different line. ( Allegedly ) Shameful .

Trying to phone for an appointment at 8.30 is a complete waste of time. You get the line busy message. When you get through after 9 you're told all of today's appointments have gone. The only way to speak to a doctor is to ring 111, tell them what's wrong, then they phone the practice and a doctor calls you back. This seems a waste of 111 resources but is the best way for patients to talk to a doctor.

Rang from 8 30 got through at 12 30 said they would ring me back later in the day .rang my wife's phone not mine said i should ring them back.rang for 3 quarter of an hour before i got through then they said the secretary will ring me tomorrow. This surgery is a joke.

What is the point of writing reviews when they are not listened to? For as long as I can remember there has been a massive problem in trying to get through to the surgery by phone (evidenced by the large number of negative reviews concerning telephone calls and my own past experiences) and sadly nothing has changed. I have been trying to get the results of a blood test for the past 5 days. There is clearly an issue which the surgery is unwilling to rectify.
