I’m not one to leave reviews but this one I must post. I took my puppy here for a weekend, when I picked him up he was soaked in his own urine, my poor puppy was shaking and looked terrible.. took him home to bathe and feed him and still days after my puppy isn’t the same and the smell won’t go away. Please don’t take your pets to this place, you’ll regret it later on. This is beyond unsanitary, this place isn’t safe for any pets.

We left our dogs here for one night. We were thinking about bording them for a week, so I asked if we could see the area they were kept to see if it was suitable for our two dogs to stay together. The man said “NO” we do not let people back there, and would not let me see where my dogs were. I told him it was sketchy, he said it’s only sketchy because I’m young, and unaware how boarding a pet is. I know nothing about boarding my dogs, I never had done it before, but I find it VERY unsettling that he would not let me see where the pets are kept. I will not be going back, nor will I ever recomend boarding here. The price is great, but not worth not knowing what kind of environment your fur babies are in.

Although I truly refrain from posting negative reviews, this is one exception to my rule because it caused us so much guilt knowing we didn't do enough upfront checking on this kennel before leaving our dog there. We have an extremely friendly dog who came out of this kennel afraid of men. He now ducks his head, cowers, and retreats when approached by men. I do not know what happened while we were away but since boarding at Stone Manor, he hasn't been the same around men. And he did have an abrasion on his nose when we picked him up. I do realize any number of things could cause that but along with the new behavior, it did cause us concern/suspicion about that abrasion. We will never board there again nor can we, in good faith, recommend this kennel to any pet owner. Please, please check up on them first and insist on seeing the conditions. Pictures on the website posted by the owner do not offset the need to see first hand where your dog is staying. No other kennel we have used has ever precluded us from seeing the kennels in person, but they do not allow that here. I found that odd to begin with but we had already booked with them and didn't have another option on that trip. NEVER again will we subject our pet(s) to this.
