Stony Plain is terrible for clearing snow off the streets, seems they don't do it at all, maybe if it gets to a foot or more in height but by then it's just too late. And it gets worse every year, raise taxes and lower services. Also it is a terrible town with Photo Radar everywhere and if you go to court to fight an unjust ticket they screw you over even more. Glad I don't live there because the taxes are always going up. But the mayor is not repsonsible for taxes, photo radar or snow removal.... ask him on Facebook and he will tell you that's not his job. His job is collecting a paycheque for doing nothing. I hate Stony Plain and try to avoid it whenever possible. Though I'm sure it's probably no worse than most towns its bad enough.
