This is a wonderful asset to people who find themselves in awkward financial situations, something that is sadly becoming more and more common in quite frankly economically challenging times. The volunteers are lovely people, who make what could potentially feel like an embarrassing situation a welcoming one. If you're struggling to afford to feed yourself or your family I can't recommend Storehouse Food Bank enough. I'm hoping to start volunteering there myself next year, as a way to say thank you for your the help they gave when I needed it.
