Great selection of ecological and vegan goods (fruit, vegetables, dairy, bread, meat). This shop was also open on Sundays , one of a very few grocery stores in the city center. There is also a cafe at the premises, which I haven't tried.

Empty Seat

Great vegan options! As you may now, it’s not so easy to find vegan places in this area but they have some vegan options. The soup and the Brötchen (small bread) was great.

Das Angebot an Bio-Lebensmitteln ist im Laufe der Zeit sehr gut geworden. Hier bekommt man auch Sachen, die in großen Supermärkten nicht erhältlich sind. Dazu gibt es auch Obst und Gemüse, Käse in der Bedienung und Kuchen. Teilweise wird der Kuchen auch selbst gebacken (siehe Bild). Geöffnet ist die Bio-Insel an allen Tagen. Kann man auch am Sonntag einkaufen.

Super Auswahl an veganen Produkten. Auch die Kuchen sind so beschriftet, dass jeder, der auf etwas achten muss, ob nun auf Weizen oder Tierprodukte, fündig wird. Besonders hat mir der Eingangsbereich gefallen, wo das unverpackte Obst und Gemüse angeboten wurde.

Klein aber fein... So einen gut sortierten Bioladen findet man kaum in Hamburg. Außerdem leckeres Brot und ein angeschlossenes kleines Café. Mir gefällt die Bio-Insel außerordentlich gut. Das Personal ist freundlich und hilfsbereit und die Auswahl an Produkten lässt kaum einen Wunsch übrig.
