Star in the Valley has a stunning view of the Shenandoah Valley. We very much enjoyed not only the view, but the very excellent locally grown and produced red wine. They also had a wonderful local cheese board available that we highly recommend! The beat winery experience I’ve had in 2020, by far. We’ll definitely be back.

It was an amazing winery, they have a very cozy atmosphere and vibe. The view outside their building is absolutely stunning. They have plenty of outdoor space for seating and have heaters and fire pits for colder weather. They have a local cheese board selection, wine flights, wine by the glass or bottle. 10/10 would recommend this place for a nice afternoon event with friends or family.

Great Wine. Great Views. Great People. My girlfriend and I stopped by after a hike nearby and found our new favorite winery. The wine itself is delicious, the views are beautiful, and the tasting room is modern with thoughtful touches. We also had the unexpected pleasure of meeting the owners, who were extremely warm and welcoming. The best end-to-end experience I have had at a Virginia winery. I can only imagine this winery is going to get even better and more beautiful in the years to come. Cannot wait to go back!

Fantastic wine, beautiful views and excellent staff. The owner is really nice and down to earth so I highly recommend talking to him when you stop in. They also have an orange wine (not actually orange just white that sat on skins) which really sets them apart. This will be a regular stop for me!
