I have attended this church for over 30 years of my life. For about the past 6 years I have gone to the 9:30 service. We have an 8:00, 9:30, and 11:00 service. The 9:30 is the most informal. You can wear what you want, you don't have to dress up. You don't sit in the sanctuary in pews, you are in the fellowship hall at tables with your friends. There is coffee and breakfast foods. There are no hymnals. We sing contemporary music off of the projector screen. Rev John preaches the 9:30 sermon as well as the 8, and 11. I highly recommend this church. It feels at home to me. I don't feel judged, just always feel welcome. I always feel like something is \off\ if I miss a Sunday. Love it here!

I’d like to report that Strasburg United Methodist Church is thriving. Our attendance at 8:00 service last week was 38, 9:30 service was 36, and 11:00 service was 40. Sunday school had 60 in attendance. All is well and wonderful at SUMC. We continue to have new members join, new baptism’s, frequently visitors and community involvement has skyrocketed. We welcome any and all. Please come check us out and see if we are a good fit for you!! :) :)

I started attending Strasburg United Methodist church on a regular basis with my family 4 years ago. Here I have found a perfect fit for my family. We attend the 9:30 Non-Traditional service upstairs in the Fellowship Hall while our son attends Sunday school downstairs. It gives us \adult\ time to truly listen to the service and to enjoy the company of our church friends. Our son has loved every Sunday school teacher and has made friends that I am sure will last a life time. SUMC is also involved in many activities that help our community and has given our family an outlet to volunteer for some wonderful causes... We have found a home and a wonderful church family at this church!

A warm and welcoming church that has become a \home\ for our family. We enjoy Rev. John Haynes's sermons and have found a place where we can get involved in our community through the many outreach programs of the church. We also have a very active United Methodist Men's group who love to get together on Saturday over some great breakfast food!
