Applecross was lovely. Very scenic. Quaint wee pub on the coast, which is nice. The Campsite - where do I begin? If youre travelling in a motorhome, don't stay here. Extremely disorganised, seems more geared up for tents. The showers, female ones, were almost clean, but did have a large number of flying creatures in them. Daddy long legs I think/hope. The organisation of the place is ... disjointed. To be nice. The allocation is haphazard, and disorganised. On a motorhome you need to charge and use the empty points, which are located at the entrance/exit. So it soon bottlenecks. If you're in the area, and you've calmed down after the drive I would stay on the front than in the Campsite.

If you have historic family ties to Applecross do call in. It is small but nether the less interesting.

Pesky Part timers

A bit tucked out of the way, we'd have missed it if the campsite staff hadn't told us it was there. Interesting couple of hours, especially the local methods of lamb castration in past times (ouch!)..
