Good place to get a great borad and at an amazing price
My son's were looking to getting into skateboarding. I haven't been around skateboards since I was a kid! So I was definitely out of my comfort zone going into the shop. We stopped here first to gather info. There was a guy and a gal sitting behind the counter. The guy came to assist us and showed us some boards. He even gave us a demo or 2 on some really cool boards. They were a bit pricey for beginners so I asked him about getting them started. They had several options for them. We asked more questions and saw many boards and the guy was great! We told him we were going to hit the other skate shops in the mall but we might be back. I'm sure he had heard that before. We left and went by Tillys, but it looked like they only had clothes. Then we hit "Zuemiz" (might be spelled wrong) upon entering a younger fella asked if we were looking for anything in particular. I told him skateboards for my boys. He said ok and stayed behind the counter. They didn't have near the selection that Street Skinz had nor the very helpful gentleman. The younger employee there never came to help us or anything so we took off and went back to Street Skinz. We ended buying 2 new boards at a reasonable price with what I believer is the best set up for beginners with room to upgrade! Definitely recommend this store! Save yourself some valuable time and just go here first!
