I was requiring 4 tenement doors to be stripped but importantly needed help lifting them down and up from my top floor tenement flat. I was previously let down by another company who refused to do the lifting on arrival despite offering this service in messages beforehand. I gave Martyn a call and he was very helpful and quoted a fair price. He was very punctual (make sure you are at your home well before your agreed time to meet him!) and offered good communication throughout. Unfortunately he couldn't do one of my doors due to the nature of the wood but he stripped the other 3 (all look good) and returned them in 6 days. I would not hesitate going back to Martyn.

Martyn assisted by his son Brandon of the company “Strip Kwik” recently carried out a job of work for us. It involved removing 7 internal heavy wooden doors which had been painted over many times throughout the years. The doors were stripped back to their original natural appearance to a very good quality. Martyn & Son returned today to rehang the doors. I am thoroughly delighted with the result and I cannot wait for my wife to see them. The service provided was at all times very professional with good communication and timeous response. Martyn collected my doors on Thursday with his son. They worked hard to get them off and told me it would take about 7 to 10 days to return which was fine. He called me Sat night to say they were ready and brought them back and hung them himself today. They look amazing and I am really pleased with them. I would totally recommend.
