Great locally brewed beers and food to dream for and on the evening when we went they had live music and the guy on guitar was simply brilliant. This is a local favoured by the locals which in my opinion is always an indicator for good quality at reasonable prices and they scored across the board.

The Beerwanderer

This is nearly as good as the nearby Griess Keller and that's saying a lot. It's also a bit closer to the Stullendorf train station so if pressed for time and on foot, it's a great choice to experience a true Franconian Bierkeller, and a scenic one at that. I only had a cold snack but hot meals looked great. My Sülze was excellent and their Kellerbier is in the same league as Griess and Krug in Geisfeld. How could so much great beer be in such a small area?!

Der Keller ist schön gelegen und umrahmt von hohen Bäumen. Dadurch ist es auch an warmen Tagen ertragbar. Nachteil dabei natürlich, dass man jetzt nicht so viel von der Umgebung sieht. Die Preise sind mittelmäßig, das Essen ist gut. Hervorheben möchte ich da den Gerupften, der ist wirklich sehr gut. An der Kundenorientierung könnten sie ein bisschen arbeiten. Hat alles so ein bisschen länger gedauert obwohl quasi noch nichts los war. Vielleicht lag es aber auch daran, dass wir relativ früh da waren. Wechselgeld hatten sie auch keins. Da war das Zahlen mit einem Fünfziger schon fast zu viel. Und das lässt sich jetzt nicht mit dem früh da sein erklären. Einfach bisschen schlecht vorbereitet. Trotzdem kann man den Keller guten Gewissens weiterempfehlen.
