I just can recommend Evan as guitar teacher! Even as an adult beginner, I made huge progress within my first 4 months of working with him. With his experience, he perfectly knows where attention should be paid to and which tips can be given to improve. He 100 % adapts to your individual speed of learning. Moreover, he is reliable and always friendly. It is great fun to have guitar lessons with Evan, which is why I am always looking forward to our weekly meeting.

Evan is a top notch teacher. As an adult learner and someone who started playing by learning a bunch of chords many years ago, it has been so enlightening to go back and learn more of the fundamentals of guitar. Evan is truly a teacher who \meets you where you are\. Skilled, patient and extremely strong technically, in a few short months I've learned more than I could have imagined and my playing is not only so much stronger, it also makes so much more sense as a result of all the dots he helped me connect! No matter if you are a beginner or very advanced, there is not a doubt in my mind that Evan will have more to teach you. I highly recommend him!

Evan is an amazing teacher. I used to play guitar 20 years ago and barely played since then. I started lessons with Evan and within a few lessons I was playing better than I had before! But it's not just playing better, it's been the introduction of better practice habits and how to setup a good/manageable schedule to ensure I was putting in the right work to improve. He also helps you understand other things you can do to improve finger strength, picking, beat matching, etc. that all make you a better player. It's been an amazing 10 months now and something I look forward to each week. His easy going and supportive personality make it a fun lesson each time and I leave the lesson feeling good about how things went. With everything being upside down in the world today, this has become a steadying and reassuring element in my life and the lessons being done virtually have not missed a step vs. in-person. I wholeheartedly recommend Evan. You cannot find a better teacher to help you achieve your guitar playing goals and have a lot of fun with! Thanks Evan!!

Can't recommend Evan enough. He's super friendly, patient and encouraging -- all very important when you're trying to learn something new. I like that each lesson is very personalized (I get to pick the songs I want to learn) and has a good mix of technique and theory. I have learned a ton in the last few weeks. He obviously knows his stuff when it comes to all kinds of music and is great at explaining it. Great teacher, and also just an all around cool dude
