Purchased an complete air suspension replacement kit for a Grand Cherokee, installed it in customer vehicle. Vehicle sat really low, but customer was happy to be rid of air suspension so he took it despite being unhappy with ride height. Customer returned right away, rides too rough, told him try it maybe it would soften up, 6 months later customer is back, ride got way worse, had a tech look at it, recommended front struts. Contacted Strutmasters, guy on phone was excellent, they sent out replacements, we paid shipping both ways 46 each way, and ate all the labor. New struts are worse than the old ones! Clunking and Clanking bad! New struts have a collar that supports the lower part of the spring, its loose and just floats around. Enough! We put new NAPA quickstruts on the vehicle and noise is gone. But I'm stuck with another 1,100 bill, customer understandably wont pay a dime. sent over video of the issue to Strutmasters and have not heard back from them. Hoping they call me and make it right. 4.27.21 I have been e-mailing them for over a week now to see if they are willing to address the issue and have not gotten any response...THEY DO NOT STAND BEHIND WHAT THEY SELL

MAster Mechanic Review. Bad strut leaking after 3,000 mile and less than 6 months. They would warranty it with a 25 refundable after receipt of defective strut. The Bad - They want us to pay 28.50 for shipping us a new replacement strut. -When questioned, we were told that they are doing us a favor by including a shipping label for return. -Reminded them the part was defective and leaking oil and that they never procured a working part for the first invoice with paid shipping. -I was told they don't make the struts and just be cause the strut was leaking does not mean its bad. ( we don't care who makes it, you put your label on it and advertise it for sale, not our problem) -Further more, I was told by the customer service manager that its not her place to question the owners 21yr old policy. I beg to differ.... We are a long standing 32 yr old Auto repair shop. We have 4 master mechanics on staff. Fix all brand and propulsion systems. All in all, We've used strutmasters in the past but no further into the future, because of our high level of commitment to our customers and feel that the same culture is not found in strumasters commitment. Try Arnott Industries for conversion kit. The quality is much better. We 've used

Will never be ordering from Strutmasters again. Ordered a full suspension kit for an S model Mercedes Benz. Rear end is significantly lower than front after installation. Contacted customer support, sent pictures of installation, along with tons of emails back and forth with a less than helpful customer service center. Strutmasters claims there is an issue with the vehicle that can cause the rear end to be 3 inches lower than the front end even though it's quite obvious that the springs in the rear of the kit were wrong. Their suggested advice was installing spacers, which they would not be responsible for and would void the warranty of the kit should anything happen. They've offered no reimbursement even though I've now removed and installed their incorrect kit multiple times. Now my customer is out 1200 and I lost all the labor for a job that is not anywhere near what was intended.

The products of this company are only for supporting the car to the original height for the time being. The result as a suspension is bad. Even with the correct installation, it started to make noise within a few months, the ride was uncomfortable and I wasted money. If you continue to drive, it is better to keep replacing the air suspension.

Wanted my suspension light out on my 2001 Suburban and was not made aware that the kit I bought would not bypass the ride height sensors. Wanted to return my kit and was hit with a 20% fee on top of shipping which came to 130. BEWARE of this before you buy from the company!

I have used strutmasters conversation kits twice now, once in a ford expedition and the other in a MB S500. I think they make a solid product that does what it says it will do. The conversation is also easy, and the prices are competitive with other brands. Customer service is also one of the best I have ever dealt with. They will work you through what you need and do it with a smile on the other end. Highly recommended.

At first I had a small problem contacted Evette Hobgood in customer service and she has gone out of her way to make sure everything was right and that I was satisfied. Evette had custom struts and springs made to insure my Jeep would be right. Evette it was a pleasure working with you on my problem I wish that every company had customer service like yours

First of all, I own LADs Auto in Calgary. Dealing with strut masters has been one of the worst experiences we have had in our professional career of 35 years of owning a repair shop and purchasing parts from an outside supplier. They sold us front struts and springs, rear springs and rear shocks, a conversion kit for a 2014 Dodge Ram pickup which ended up being defective. The truck had a difference of an inch of ride height from side to side. They did sent us different set up replacement springs, which were lowering springs, not what we needed. We called numerous times and emailed numerous times with no response. Our client was less than satisfied with this product. We ended up paying for and suppling him with a kit from Monroe and the issue was resolved. To this day, strut masters has not made any attempt to correct this situation or refund the money. Do your self a favour and do not purchase their product. They do not stand behind what they sell.
