Had coffee and cake here twice in less than a week. Wow, fabulous cake, my mother loves it. Very safe and clean, tables cleared quickly and sanitised along with the chairs. Its very clear where to sit. Will be going back

Excellent home cooked style food. My wife and I enjoyed a superb lunch of Steak & Kidney Pie with well cooked and very tasty vegetables. Plentiful plateful which left no room for Dessert. Very good value for money. Staff doing a 1st Class job ensuring all Covid 19 protocols are being observed. Well done.
Love the cafe, food is always great! I was just a bit concerned that on my last visit, it appears that more tables have been added, making it harder to distance properly when seated.

Not sure how this place has such high ratings. The food is buffet style with everything cooked and on show. Take your own snacks and drinks and pay at the end. We grabbed a plate to get our hot food and just as we were about to get it we were stopped and told that they plate it for you. Okay, fair enough. I don't know how it runs. Went and paid 15 for 2 breakfasts and 2 bottles of water. 25 minutes later and still no food. Went up to enquire why and was told that normally they are on it and they're about to plate it up. This was then followed up with \can we take your order again?\. Clearly the order had been lost but they were too proud to admit this.Sorry, no way am I waiting even longer because you guys can't be bothered to do your job. Got a refund instead. Want food that says freshly cooked but is actually under heat lamps and can't even be put on a plate within 25 minutes? This is the place for you!
