Despite calling to confirm our van rental, we arrived at the location to learn that our reservation had been cancelled and the van rented out to someone else. We asked to make another reservation and were told it wasn’t possible and they didn’t have any more 7 passenger vans available. During this conversation my husband logged onto their website, made a new reservation for the same location, same car, etc and received a confirmation email. When we showed this to the agent she said that athough the reservation was booked and confirmed, they didn’t actually have the car available. So, if you actually need a specific vehicle at a specific time, take your business elsewhere - because a reservation, confirmation email, AND confirmation phone call are all meaningless here and it’s a total gamble as to whether or not you’ll get a vehicle at all. Plot twist: I’ve been writing this review while my husband worked out the details of renting a different vehicle and now we’ve been told they can’t rent anything to us at all. I understand that the agents are limited in what they can do- they have to follow the rules and she cannot very well conjure a van from thin air- and yet I am still blown away by her curt, unhelpful, dismissive attitude and mind boggling lack of common courtesy. Overall an exceedingly negative customer experience. The plot thickens: when asked WHY we could rent a vehicle she said she couldn’t tell us and we had to write an email to someone to find out. Considering we are on our way out of town this wasn’t an option. Finally she agreed to call them to find out what the problem was, and it turns out she had typed in an incorrect email address. And, the grand finale, when we finally paid for the car - having requested anything between 5-7 seats but NOTHING larger- we were directed to a 9 passenger bus. Good grief.

Make sure the staff give you instant confirmation that your vehicle has been returned, the unhelpful women I dealt with did not do this after I asked and now Sixt have stolen 65 euros from my account, still trying to get it back.
Everything was ok BUT the payment. I made a reservation, of course giving all the information of my Visa credit card. Once I am there, the girl working there tells me that they cannot confirm the reservation with this type of card, so I have to use a giro-karte. I say... ok no prob but then they had to make a new reservation, meaning that it costed me twice as the one I made long time before in order to save as much as possible. It is a pity because everything else was great, but this ruined my experience with them. Also I could say the girl was not the nicest person in the world...
Staff is just not interested!
We have rent for 1,5 hours a transport for a route about 20 km. Worst company they have taken 200 euros for Kaution and they put damages that we have never made..
