Tom Bodanske is the best home improvement professional I've ever hired. I am on my second large home improvement project and over time I've hired drywall guys and HVAC and plaster guys and masons. Tom is the most professional, responsive, helpful, and generous I've ever hired. His price was also the best we were quoted. We moved into a home with some 90s orange oak floor tied into carpet and tile. My goal was to remove the carpet and tile, and lay the flooring myself, and have Tom sand and refinish the old and the new floor. Tom was available to answer any question I had during my demo of the old floor and install of the new floor. He came to my house three times simply to offer advice when I ran into a tricky situation. When I ran into a particularly difficult section at the end I couldn't finish, Tom offered to do it at a very reasonable rate separate from what I originally hired him for. During the color selection process, Tom sanded a bit of our existing floor and laid out sample colors which included custom mixed colors. When we weren't sold on any of the colors Tom came back and laid more sample colors. Tom coordinated my purchase and delivery of the wood flooring through a local vendor who provided a great product that could not have been bought in a box store. If you are needing old wood flooring refinished or new wood flooring installed, run to the phone and call Tom before his schedule books up any further. You won't be disappointed.

Tom refinished our hardwood floors & was a pleasure to work with! He is friendly, informative, knowledgeable, etc. He really knows what he is doing and made sure my husband and I were comfortable and understood what the process was the entire time. We went on vacation the week he refinished the floors and he was more than willing to bring any packages inside & was kind enough to send us videos/pictures throughout the process. We didn’t even ask him to... he just did! And to top it off... the floors look phenomenal!!! Highly highly recommend!
TOM refinished an existing wood floor in our hallway, removed the carpeting in our living room and installed new wood flooring in our living.. He matched the new wood flooring in the living room to the existing hallway flooring. perfectly. It was a five day project and the result was a \work of art\ Tom was prompt, informative, and professional in every way. .I would definitely recommend him.
We had a 13x12 room that consisted of carpet and tile. Tom provided a free in-house inspection and an extremely fair price when comparing to other local flooring competitors. He worked around our schedule and even came back the next day in the evening to provide samples to choose from. Aside from being extremely accommodating, Tom was very knowledgeable and explained the entire process and answered any questions we had. The finished result is absolutely stunning, I cannot honestly recommend Tom enough for any work that you may have. He was very efficient, finishing the room within a day and was extremely meticulous to detail.
