I met Jane a couple of years ago at a general holistic health event. I had an introductory session which I was very impressed with. After Jane accurately explained the anatomical structure of the shoulder to me, and after I revealed my profession, she looked shocked but carried on like a true professional (and incidentally everything she said was indeed correct!) I have had a few different operations to stabilise my one shoulder and was waiting for a repeat procedure on the other shoulder. Whilst the surgeon had done a brilliant job, I was left with a lot of neuro pain and muscular stiffness and was therefore also dreading a repeat procedure on the 2nd shoulder. I spent the best part of ten years on terribly strong medication and constant referrals to physiotherapy (some of which were with my colleagues, embarrassingly) - nothing gave me long term relief and my next step was permanent gabapentin or pregablin drugs. Not nice and not advisable if there is an alternative. I decided to invest in other treatments and sought Jane out for long term treatment on an initial trial period. After two months, I had not taken pain medication or had to re-refer to physio. I booked a routine 6 week appointment from then and had a consistent experience of symptom relief. During my time seeing Jane there has been a time where (through my busy schedule) I didn't see Jane for nearly 12 weeks. I was in agony and off work - that was proof enough for me. Since then I have ensured a consistent treatment plan with Jane. Alongside the physical treatment, I love having a jibber jabber with Jane and putting the world to rights! May as well feed the soul as well as heal the body. Ourchats duringt treatment have been as invaluable to me as anything and have promoted my ongoing career development alongside my physical rehab. I have recommended Jane to friends and family and will continue to do so.
