Exceptional experience Friday March 26th at Lasalle store. My mother is a senior with health issues and needed some help packing her order, Savannah was great! Often no one helps.

Purchased Soft Tortilla Shells at the Lasalle location on two separate occasions ... both times the bags had a large hole on the edge of the packaging with tiny chew marks/partial product eaten. I hadn't noticed this until I went to use the sheets of tortilla. I called the store to inform them what I'd experienced, with no acknowledgment from staff that there COULD be mice. I then went back to the store to look around the bread department floor myself... and there was definitely more than enough evidence of rodent excrement. All I was looking for was acknowledgment that there was an issue and to take the steps to correct it. But unfortunately they did not want to admit there was a problem... OR even look into it. I was a daily shopper here, reconsidering this now. Not impressed in the least.

Clean lots of space. Lots of choices in fresh fruit and vegetables. Staff very helpful and great to deal with in finding items.

Usually love going to Food Basics, but I've since made it an effort to not go and have told many friends and family the same and that many I've seen come in with out a mask. I asked if it was not mandatory and was told yes, but if they say they can't no questions can be asked. Costco refuses no matter what and states if you are unable to wear the mask then they can offer delivery, curb side pick up. Too many now adays are trying to get away with just saying they have an exemption and this most likely not the case. Chapters does the same thing, and you are a grocery store and should be protecting the public and of course more importantly your employees. It's very disappointing to see this practice when people are complaining about stores not opening and our city is shut down, well they are the ones keeping this hamster wheel spinning . Please change your policy or I most certainly will be continuing to not go and tell a whole bunch of my family and friends who are in complete agreement with this. That may not give one difference to you all in the grand scheme of things but I certainly would hope you would want to be apart of the solution and not more of the problem.
