Nice sorta secluded beach area. No lifeguard tho and or water testing for bacteria
This is one of the best places for a swim and it is never crowded. I think it is because the parking is far away so people just don't go here. If you don't mind walking a little bit for a nice sand beach this is the beach for you.
A little bit of a walk in but it's worth it. Great sandy beach with hardely any weeds in the water. There are some great high points in the rocks to jump from or just get a nice view. It's not usually too too crowded.
This is a beautiful beach, it is open to the public as well as to students. This beach is on Lake Nipawan and is accessible from the University or from loaches road both via loaches trail. There are many hiking paths along the trail that can lead you to the beach. The beach also has a path leading to a jumping rock. And another path that leads to a lookout from the top of a rock face. The Laurentian University Outdoor Centre rents out canoes, kayaks, and paddle boards that can be brought to this beach to go for a nice paddle around the lake while enjoying the nice scenery of the golf course and the lakes multiple small islands.
