I've been taking guitar lessons from Pete for several years and have enjoyed it and learned a lot. I'm also part of the evening adult jazz combo with some neighborhood dad friends. I recommend the school to anyone, kid or adult, who wants to learn to play. The teachers are professional musicians who have chosen to teach; most are graduates of leading music schools who have taught for years in public schools and at the college level. I was surprised to find such a high level of instruction in a quiet suburban town.

I appreciate the flexibility, creativity, incredible talent and sincere love of music that she shares and how she supports my goals. She’s wonderful. I’ve been going to Sudbury school of music for about four years. I’ve been playing guitar for 25 years but working with Peter really took my playing to another level. He’s a brilliant analyst of what I needed to do to bridge the gap. I’ve been paired up with a group of like-minded middle-agers and we’ve had a blast forming a rock band together which meets weekly at the school. The school also provides excellent and comfortable instruction for my daughter on Trumpet. Highly recommend.

Peter has done a wonderful job teaching our son, including conveying a broad appreciation of music theory.
