There were a lot of things we liked about this restaurant. The staff was friendly and the service was on point. The presentation of the meals was beautiful and the food was really good.
If I could rate more than 5 stars - I would! I went to Verdicchio's this past weekend and had the most delicious dinner and fantastic experience. I have a gluten insensitivity and the staff went above and beyond for me. I was really interested in the special that night but the sauce wasn't gluten free - however they whipped one up from scratch for me without me even requesting. It was above and beyond and not to mention it was delicious. The food is amazing every time and the service is also amazing. I recommend this restaurant to anyone. Thank you so much for the amazing meal.
This restaurant was service, hospitality and especially food on a whole other level. I couldn't wait to get on my phone and leave this review! Totally unassuming strip mall - with a gem hidden in the corner. We were so happy that we chose the 4-course tasting menu as we got to try many different items for a great price. Your food is always fantastic...the octopi was phenomenal. I'm a steak lover and I'd rather that octopi than a steak....OMG. SURF AND TURF!
New to these parts, we visited Verdicchio on the weekend. I didn't really expect to discover a very good Italian restaurant here. But i was quite pleasantly surprised. The squid-ink pasta special was seasoned to perfection. The Manitoulin-trout appetizer special was not everyone's favourite, but it was properly explained and.. we did select it.
The Manitoulin-trout appetizer special was not everyone's favourite, but it was properly explained and.. we did select it. Wine, desserts and service were great. We even got a welcome from the grand Nonna. I found the price to be pretty good for a place of this quality. We'll be back!
