I am extremely pleased with the service provided today for my heat pump system by Derrick of Summer Breeze Heating & Air. In less than 30 minutes, Derrick accurately diagnosed and fixed my heat pump issue. Right away, through logical deduction and testing, he identified the cause of no heat as an electrical short in the outside condenser unit caused by two metal components that had come into contact. The short was preventing the system from kicking on. He was patient and professional, answering my many questions as I followed him around. He was careful to not track mud into my house. Summer Breeze was assigned to my case by AHS, my home warranty company, so I cannot comment on affordability (my entire out of pocket for this visit was 75). In terms of a job done professionally, done quickly, and done right, I would highly recommend Derrick and Summer Breeze to anyone.

Not at all fond of the plastic baggie containing a rock and fake 100 coupon “advertisement” that was tossed in my driveway. All I keep thinking is, At least I just used the blower today instead of the leaf vacuum, and at least it didn’t shoot out from my tire at the neighbors house,. Advertising reflects a company’s values. Maybe it’s just me, but Baggie with rock and fake money coupon tossed in driveways seems like not only a safety hazard, but a quite poor way to advertise.

I used my home warranty and was assigned to this company. I needed assistance with completing the setup for my Nest. My unit was working completely fine. When the tech came out he completed the installment but then my a/c started blowing hot air vs cold air. I had to call the company back and the tech came back out and stated there was too much Freon. He stated that he removed Freon. Now that’s winter my unit is blowing cold air vs hot air. My house is currently 30 degrees and we are freezing. Due to the holidays no one can come out until Monday. Upsetting that I’m having to spend more money for an issue that wasn’t here in the first place. Update: new company came out. I was informed that the tech previously did not install the wiring back into place when replacing a wire for the nest. Thank you Summer Breeze. I’m out of 300.
