In a time when I did not want to think of anything else, the staff at Sumner Voiles Funeral chapel were incredibly nice and professional. They took care of everything for us!! Awesome people.

Sumner Voiles staff is compassionate, caring and accommodating. We made a special request concerning our daughter's ashes and the containers we wanted them in. (She passed after a 2 1/2 year battle with colon cancer, and wanted her ashes put into her chemo pill bottles.) She gave us a list of at least thirty places she wanted to \go along\ with us after her passing...and now that adventure has begun. Sumner Voiles respectfully responded to our phone call just prior to midnight the night she passed in her home. (We also previously selected Sumner Voiles for my father's cremation in May 2019.)
After loosing someone very special, we chose here. They are terrific, caring, and not overly expensive. They are upfront, no hidden fees.
Summer Voiles eliminated all stress and worry out of our lives. They retrieved my Brother immediately from the morgue and took care of him with love and dignity. We were able to this from another city and he was ready when we got to town. Thank You Summer Voiles for making this situation bearable.

I was able to make all of my husband’s arrangements online at a very reasonable price when time was of the essence but the loss of my husband was paramount in my mind. I liked the way staff was very respectful of my loss at every contact and even helped carry my husband’s remains to my car when I went to pick him up. Staff also reached out to me by text within the weeks following to make sure I was doing ok and all services required of them had been done. I am still waiting for the results from our requested DNA test but this is to be expected as my husband just recently passed away. Again thank you for your services.
