Sunapee Cove is a beautiful place for your loved ones! Not only do I work there and love it, but I hope to have my dad there when the time comes. The staff is very helpful and attentive. The amount of teamwork all the way around is out of this world! I highly recommend Sunapee Cove to anyone who is interested in employment or finding a loving alternative for your parents or grandparents.

I have been in this facility several times and have found it to be very clean and the staff very friendly. I had the opportunity to observe the interactions between staff and the residents and was very impressed. The residents are treated with respect and kindness. Would highly recommend this facility for your loved one.

I would not recommend this place to anyone. The Executive Director is a complete joke, he is not there most of the time. The staff are rude and don’t want to be bothered with anything. The food is not fine dining by any means. The residents get beans & hot dogs every Sat night for dinner.There is a lady in a wheelchair that wonders all over the facility with no supervision. If my Mother or Father had dementia I wouldn’t want them treated this way! These residents pay thousands of dollars to live there and are treated like they are “bothering” the staff. Sunapee Cove will literally drain your loved ones bank account with rent and hidden fees. The rent increases every year. What ever you do, don’t move your loved ones here, if you care about them. It looks pretty on the outside but it’s hell inside.

I would highly recommend this facility. The building itself is truly beautiful and in a lovely setting. The Residents appear happy and active. The seem to have an easy-going relationship with the staff, which is respectful towards them. They have a large bus for transportation for outings and shopping. The activities are geared towards the adults they are, further promoting their independence and dignity. (I worked for nine years for a retirement home in Newport, and left due to their lack of ethical behavior). This would be a wonderful choice.

I am a relative of a resident. I believe that the ED, the DON and all the staff at the Cove show compassion and genuine caring for the residents. The warmth and passion for seniors is a hard quality to find in Assisted Living. I highly recommend this facility. (Thanks Pudge and Lisa for your hearts)
