I got all 4 wisdom teeth pulled out here at the beginning of Feb 2021 and was very satisfied with the level of care I received. I was informed every step of the way, the reception staff and nurses were incredibly nice and helpful and I left knowing what to expect after the surgery. Thanks for the great level of service.

By seeing all the negative reviews i was a bit concerned to admit my wife. I even told my wife not to expect a great care by seeing all the reviews. But, the care and attention she got was outstanding. By the time i went to pick her up after her surgery she was in tears of joy about the care and how she was treated from the beginning to discharge. Thank you so much for such a wonderful experience. Doctors and nurses are so attentive and caring especially Nurse CARLY Thank you so much for looking after my wife.

Worst hospital in Brisbane and I would not recommend it to anyone. I recently was admitted for day surgery. The admission process was very efficient, especially the taking of payment from all patients. Pre surgery, nursing and ward staff were arguing in front of me about the type of bed I was on, and the attitude of the theatre nurse was very uncaring and that I was some sort of annoyance as I had not put on the DVT socks, which I had not been given. Post op, I requested any pain relief several times and also a glass of water. I was rolled into a ward for no apparent reason and the nursing staff in the wards were uncaring and rude at times. After waiting for over an hour and a half and requesting multiple times for water, pain relief and my clothes and to be discharged, I went to a toilet and drank water from the tap, then walked through the hospital with only my theatre gown on, and finally managed to get some assistance from the very nice girl at the day surgery reception who helped me find my clothes, after which I got dressed and walked out. I have worked in all of the largest tertiary hospitals in QLD and was shocked to witness the level of care provided by nursing staff at your hospital. My wife was also waiting outside for me for 7 hours and she tried calling the hospital number multiple times but there was no answer. There appears to be plenty of staff, but good, caring staff are few and far between.

Having second thoughts of getting a job here. Very unsafe nurse to patient ratios. I worked a couple agency shifts and ended up with 13 to 15 acute post op patients in the afternoon. I've worked in better places. Too many new staff, not enough experienced staff and poor skill mix

My experience at this hospital has been very positive. I received excellent care pre and post Op. The chatter amongst staff was caring and friendly. I was treated with respect and dignity. A great team of professionals.
