Self service taproom located in downtown Sunnyvale that offers an interesting premise "checkin and use a wristband to pour your own beer at your leisure*. Beer was good, outdoor seating was great, and service was fast. Knocked a star off for average customer service and concerns about the beer glass cleanliness. The Beer: The beer here is great. They have several IPAs, Lagers, Ciders, Wine, and many other offerings here. It's nice that they list the IBU and Alcohol percentage for each item. The staff seems knowledgable about the offerings. We were a bit concerned as some of the beer glasses seemed to be not totally clean (on the rims), so we had to inspect before choosing the glass below the counter. The Location: The location here is great and this seems like a good spot to bring friends. Serving your own beer is a unique idea and surely will impress friends. There are great spots around, ample parking, and a good vibe in general.

I love the idea of their "pour your own beer"! I love trying out new drinks and generally find myself struggling with indecisiveness to choose what drink I want (I'm a flights kind of girl). The way it works, you get a wristband at the front, and you scan your wristband in order to pour. You can pour as much as you want and pay by the ounce (prices vary by ounce for each beer). They have a good, varied selection that includes IPAs, porters, stouts, kombucha, sours, etc. and have some of my other favorites on tap including Russian River's Blind Pig and Pliny the Elder and Belching Beaver's peanut butter milk stout! They are located in downtown Sunnyvale which gets pretty busy, but there's usually parking available in the back parking lot, and there's a convenient back-door entrance you can use from the parking lot.
Pretty decent place. They have a wide variety of both local, regional, national, and international beers to choose from. The self pour system is definitely something to try out if you haven’t already. It was very pleasing not having to ask anyone for a bunch of samples, which I (admittingly) always do. I find great satisfaction in getting to try just as much of a beer as I want
Interesting concept. You check in with a wrist band - basically opening a tab. You have a huge selection of draft beer to choose from and you are your own bartender. The wrist band identifies you and it enables the pour handle when you hold it up to the enable button. When you are finished with your beer drinking you go to cash register and pay. They also offer a food menu too. I’m giving this place a three star since I thought it was a little expensive!
I recently visited this place to do outdoor dining and the service was terrible. I know it's not how this place normally operates, but the server brought my party beers when we got there and didn't even look our way for the next hour we were there, even though it wasn't busy at all. The server looked half asleep or stoned and didn't respond to obvious eye contact or statements such as "It would be nice to have another round of beers." I had to walk up to him directly to order a second round of beers and food. With that said, the beer selection and food were ust okay, nothing special.
This is a really cool concept. Great variety of beers to choose from. Food was also delicious. I had the IPAs, stouts, red ales and porters. For food I had the slider trios trying both the buffalo chicken and beef and onions. The buffalo chicken was my favorite. I also had an order of sweet potato fries with were extremely fresh! Staff was great very friendly and knowledgeable. I could tell that they wanted their customers to truly enjoy their experience and went above and beyond to make sure that happened. They were busy at times during our visit but that never affected service.
Had a nice time. The owners were very friendly and helpful. Really liked the concept of pouring your own beer. My one issue was during every full pour a large portion of my beer was foam. I'd recommend going with half pours that way you don't waste beer. Update: dropping down a star because their happy hour has been reduced by a full hour.
Fun way to enjoy over 40 different beers with friends. Casual atmosphere with a relaxing feel. Service was great. Food was much better than I expected. Will go back again very soon.
