Executive Chef Mr Alamin l-b-n Aftab was headhunted by Joy’s Managing Director and previously worked for the prestigious Taj Hotel Group and some of the UK’s top Indian restaurants. His menu includes familiar favourites like chicken jalfrezi and lamb rogan josh alongside some house specialties like Nali Gosth (lamb shank marinated with spices onion and tomato) and chicken green masala – a Goan curry made with fresh coriander mint and coconut milk. Joy’s wide range of meat-free dishes will satisfy even the most demanding vegetarian and there is a popular take-away and delivery service available too.,

I live near Surbiton high street and this is my favourite restaurant in town. A great little Indian with a friendly bunch of staff. Great variety of dishes and the quality of the ingredients is excellent. They’ve kept the flag flying through lockdown and deserve our full support.

This is what I would consider a very english local indian restaurant. Food is good, portions are big and it's inexpensive. The service is good and attentive. I would encourage to book for evenings/weekends as it gets busy.

Absolutely fantastic my partner ordered some food from here for the first time tonight for us after a recommendation and couldn’t fault it! Well cooked and not fatty or greasy at all will definitely order again from here thank you so much!

Ive had several takeaways from this restaurant, and dined in yesterday for the first time. The team were able to fit us in, this is considering they were extremely busy due to the 'eat out to help out' scheme. The food is delicious, one of the best Jalfrezi's I've ever had. Great service and no complaints.
