We stopped here for lunch on a rainy day. It is right on the beach and near many attractions, so it is pricey but convenient. Everyone was following mask restrictions, which was great, but the menu left a lot to be desired. For the price, all our meals except one were rather small and lacking in ingredients. There was also barely any vegetarian food that wasn't a supermarket-bought lentil patty (not something you really go out to eat). Great staff and good drinks, but the food let us down

I ordered a take away box of the Salt and Pepper Calamari. This cost me 19. Pretty disappointed with the tiny serving size. The chips were unseasoned and the calamari was oily. Won’t be returning here.

After spending the morning walking along the beach we decided to stop into the Surf Life Club for lunch. This restaurant/ cub is located directly opposite the beach with awesome views and with a great vibe as the street was packed with people enjoying the day. Was greeted by a Argentinian girl who was friendly and helpful. Found all the staff to be helpful and friendly. Good selection of cold beers on tap but was left disappointed by the less than average lunches. We ordered the steak sandwich and fish basket both meals lacked any flavour or taste. It’s very rare that we ever leave or anything of our meal.

Great spot on the upper deck, beach views and people watching. Food has a lot to be desired but drinks and atmosphere are good. Male facilities upstairs would.be handy.

Nice location and nice staff (mostly). Food came in a timely manner and it was sufficient for the price. Can't complain too much.

The meals were fantastic and a good size if like me and don't mind a decent size. Every thing was cooked to perfectly and the prices were really good. It was very clean and easy access. The staff were very polite and friendly. I couldn't find a single fault with anything will definitely going back.

Went with friends for dinner. It wasn’t overly busy, there were still tables available. The bar area was packed and quite a few rowdy patrons. We were advised that there was an hour wait for food but I didn’t really understand why. We ordered anyway and I decided to add some bread hoping it would come out earlier. It was 45 minutes for the bread and the mains came out almost straight after which was fine. We ordered the share seafood platter for two. The chips looked like they had been sitting for ages. They were cold and limp. Not great value at 80. My husbands 20 Thai beef salad was great. Have been going there for years but this experience won’t have me going back.
