For as long as I can remember capturing a moment in an image has been a passion of mine. When I get together with a new or past client it is all about the experience. I spend time getting to know who you are, what your style is like and what makes you smile. Photo sessions are not intended to be uncomfortable and posed - they are to reflect who you are and where life has brought you to in that moment. When you look back on the images captured my goal is that it brings you right back to that moment, those emotions and for a moment you can pause to re-live it all over again. We are all only here for a little while - we work to provide for our families and connect with one another, so why would you wait to capture the ones you love most in a photograph. It doesn't have to be a special occasion to book, everyday should be celebrated! I look forward to the opportunity to create lasting memories that you can pass down for generations to come!

I recently had the distinct pleasure of having Jen capture a collection of magical photos of our children (newborn and toddler), as well as some family shots. I discovered her webpage with a simple internet search and could not have been more happy with the decision we made to go with her. She embodied everything and more I could ever ask of a professional photographer. From her excellent communication and beautiful studio (with an overwhelming amount of props to choose from), to her endless patience and immaculate eye for capturing the beauty of a child, my wife and I could not have been more pleased with the entire experience. She is a consummate professional with a lighthearted personality that makes you feel like you’re sitting with a friend you’ve had for years all while she performs magic with her camera. She gave us so many options of what styles we wanted, but still guided us to what she knew would look incredible. We were so impressed following our photo session, and then when we actually received the images, we were elated. There is no shortage of photographers and studios out there to choose from, but I cannot imagine getting better quality or service that what Jen provides. Our experience was worth every penny and more!

I had the opportunity to have pictures taken of my grandson, Blake by Jen on Dec 12, 2019. From the moment we arrived to the moment we left I felt Jen was not only professional but empathetic, caring and very safety conscious with regards to the baby. Blake was very comfortable with Jen noted by his cooing and smiling each time Jen held him. I highly recommend Jen. Her skills with the camera are amazing.

Jen did our family photoshoot to capture our new born baby. She is amazingly creative and has keen eyes to details. She works very well with children and makes us feel very welcoming. Jen does more than what is expected of her and she's a gem to work with. Highly recommend and would definitely love to work with her again!

We had a fantastic experience. We found JLS Photography online and booked because of the fast, easy and detailed communication we had. The photo shoot was inspired; JLS has a wide range of props, outfits and backdrops to choose from, but that wasn't the most impressive part. The JLS photographer immediately bonded with our son making this an incredibly low stress activity. She knew how to keep him calm, pose him comfortably and make him smile. We never felt rushed if we needed a break or needed to feed - we simply relaxed and chatted until it was time to work again.
