If you are interested in an Education Assistant Program, I highly recommend taking it at Stenberg College. I found the program rigorous and very interesting. Yes, it's a lot of work but when you graduate you are ready to work in any elementary or high school, with confidence. It's slightly more expensive than other schools but it's well worth it! The instructors are great and you earn all the extra certificates that many school boards look for. I highly recommend it!

Stenberg College provided all the skills and tools I needed to succeed in the Pharmacy Technician combined delivery course. The instructors were knowledgeable and available to help when needed. The course material was condensed and fast paced, allowing me to get into my new career quickly, and I felt well prepped for my two practicums. I highly recommend Stenberg College to anyone!

As an international student, I'm very satisfied with the program that I took. Instructors with experience on the field, staff that supports when you needed and a well-structured Business program. Besides, you are allowed to work part-time while studying and have the option to choose a co-op experience at the end of the program. A very good option and complete course for those who are seeking to start a life in Canada.

Stenberg was the second school I met with when I decided I wanted to purse a practical nursing program. Unlike the first school I went to, Stenberg was warm and friendly right off the bat. I had my reservations initially about attending a private college, but I was quickly put at ease. The instructors were all so incredibly knowledgable with relevant practical experience. They were patient, kind and fair, always answering any questions. The program is intensive, but if you put in the work, the program will give you the foundations to enter the workfield. I finished the program 2 months ago and have been hired to 2 hospitals! Thank you Stenberg for giving me not only purpose, but also a new career!

I decided not to attend Stenberg due to the advisor being uneducated, unhelpful and border line rude when answering questions. Not only was the advisor I dealt with unable to answer my questions accurately, but also never bothered to follow up with answers after our final meeting. All which were valid and important questions when spending so much money on education! The program outline and speakers at the info sessions claimed that after completing the program students are “qualified” for multiple employment opportunities, all of which proved to be untrue once I did my own research, as the industry min standard is a Masters Degree in the field of Counselling. At a high price tag of nearly 30k, I would expect to graduate with the ability to be not only employable, but also, have the option to upgrade my education to meet the industry requirements (which you cannot do as Stenberg is not a Canadian Accredited College and credits are not transferable to any University program). All which they don’t mention when trying to sell you the program. I’ve heard the instructors are fantastic, which was one of the selling factors for me originally. But the lack of transparency and desultory assistance from the advisor was enough to make me consider another school all together.

I went to this college to get my diploma as a registered pharmacy tech, but as time went on i noticed the quality in courses was falling off a cliff. at first everything was neatly organized and informative. but after about 3 months the courses were nothing more than webpage clippings and flash games. interestingly enough 3 months is the cut off for any refund what so ever. I complained to the staff about the quality being a total embarassment to any institution and demanded my money back after i discovered they have had issues with accreditation and that various students were denied their practicum. I was removed from the course, no refund was given, and my transcripts are being witheld despite paying in full for the course! which by the way is over 16,000 dollars. four times as much as any community college in vancouver. Stay far away from this place.

I am currently taking the Practical Nursing program at Stenberg College. I cannot say enough great things about the program and the staff! My first impression of the school was when I met with Haeley McKinney during my enrollment in Feb 2019. Along with my teachers, she has encouraged and supported me throughout my program. I highly recommend Stenberg and will continue to do so into my nursing career. My time here was life changing!

A great experience with a multitude of academic opportunities and countless social options for everyone. Stenberg has a community like feeling and is somewhere that I have no problem calling home. Faultless academic support, and instructors with outstanding subject knowledge. Much more professional and supportive than anything I have experienced before. Socially brilliant, location is lovely and the effort and support from staff and support staff throughout my program of Early childhood Education. I never thought I’d enjoy my college experience this much! That year was really hard for me but the way that Stenberg has taken it and tried to improve my study experience was very impressive. From adapting courses to providing some sort of social aspect to my time really shows how much the college cares about students. I couldn’t recommend Stenberg more.
