I truly felt like Carolyn understood my concussion and listened to me with care and patience. She seemed competent and explained some old concepts to me in a new way that made them make sense. It's clear that she is familiar with concussions and for the first time in a year and a bit I felt "seen" and am looking forward to working with her.

I am a business man who on August 25 2018 fell on his head in a bathtub and suffered a serious brain injuries. After 2.5 years of seeing now few than 8 specialists for my symptoms including depression, anxiety, headaches, double vision, light sensitivity, and more...I failed to have anyone put me on a plan to find the root causes and treat them. My career shifted and today I do night stocking in a warehouse and wait tables at a restaurant to keep physically active and make ends meet. My dream is to be back to myself. (Pictures are my before and after. Nov 2018 I was a mess and almost gave up walking into a warehouse night shift to do something I hadn't done before in my life and I hid the truth from the world) I learned the vision of this place is to help a billion brains worldwide, one at a time. That got me excited to agree to see Tori for an assessment of whether I fit the criteria for the therapy programs. My initial ZOOM assessment this week for the treatment program with Tori was a breath of light in a dark space for me. I will definitely engage in the program and appreciated her passion and assessment. The fact that she has met others like me gives me confidence that I am not alone in my concussion recovery. The key learning is that I have been missing a treatment program that can get to the root of the issues...not just symptoms. I am in for the ride when the time lines up. I was able to visit the clinic and tour their site in Surrey BC. After meeting people like Ryan, Sonia and now Tori... the stigma of needing help fell away. There is something very different going on in this place. I look forward to seeing what is ahead. Tom A. I am so happy to be a patient at Surrey Neuroplasticity clinic. They have helped me a lot already and I’m just beginning my journey with them. I’ve had PCS Post Concussion Syndrome undetected for 2 years now after a work injury and when I went to see what they could do, they were wonderful! They gave me hope and they gave me help. They are professional and academic with a cutting edge clinic at the borders of innovation. It’s exciting to be a part of. They are always positive, knowledgeable, and kind and they make me feel like healing will be possible for me and success as well. I would recommend them to the stars and back again. If you are having any kind of brain challenge, check them out. It might be worth your while.

Sonia Rabinat-Aligue

It’s an expensive treatment, but it works if you’re constant and work hard. I improve a lot with my balance, a little with my walk and I have regained mussels in my legs. I've seen improvements with my balance after a week of treatment. I recover quickly when I’m tired. I can stand up longer. They teached me to walk again and to have good postures. I finished the treatment two weeks ago, I recommend doing the treatment for everyone with MS.

I have a severe TBI. This clinic gave me care that made my previous rehab clinics look like a sad joke. They use a lot cutting edge technology/neuroscience and are so warm and encouraging. Worth every penny, changed my course of recovery. I used PoNS for cognition and it also improved my fatigue symptoms.

From the first consult to my initial appointment, all the staff members went above and beyond. I am always looking for missing puzzle pieces in my health journey, having lived with MS for over 27 years. The PoNS treatments offered through the SNPC were effective and came with amazing, encouraging staff, all working together to help make my 14 week program positive and successful. My two biggest accomplishments included being able to balance so that I feel safe and don't need to lean on something every where I go....and having the strength and ability to ride my trike for an hour out to UBC and back!! Huge victory for me! Now that I have completed my PoNS treatments, I am noticing I am able to stay more alert while reading a book and I can follow and retain the information much easier! An unexpected bonus as we did not focus on improving my cognitive skills during my PoNS sessions! I believe the possibilities with PoNS are endless!
