Pasta is amazing. Consistently excellent the 4 or more times I've had it. Prime rib on Saturdays was above average. Fish fry, fish itself is great quality, portion is nicely sized, breading is a too crisp and too much for my liking. Tartar sauce is great. Update, Ribs. Best ribs I've had a restaurant, no fat, I could only eat half, friend got same thing, he only ate half and loved them. Bones just pulled out, nom nom.
Went there Friday nite with intention of taking a pizza with us and enjoying some of the Brewer game and a cocktail in the bar while waiting. Found out the kitchen just closed but because the pizza oven was still on, the cook was willing to accommodate us. We have ordered pizza here and dined in a number of times over the years and I'm not one to ever give a review but they have outstanding pizza and how they took care of us I felt they deserved one.
OMG! Where do I start? Placed a pick up order at 3:30pm to be picked up at 6pm. Had people coming from out of town and raved about their fish fries. Got there at 6pm and waited and waited and waited and waited and was told my order was coming up. Waited and waited some more. Was told they were packaging my order up. Waited and waited some more. Still no food! Asked again and lady went into the kitchen for 10 minutes only to be told my order hadn't been made it yet! What???? Is this a joke???? It is now 6:45pm and they told me it would be another 20 minutes!! Thought they were making my order and when I questioned her, she said she cancelled my order! But of course she took my 71.00 the second I walked in. Very unprofessional business! I do not recommend Sussex Inn and I will NEVER be back!!!
