As small town filling stations go. Service was slow and nothing to write home about.

This is a wonderful experience i had (19/3/2020),very helpful .I had a flat tyre side wall cut about 22km on calvinia road. The spare wheel would not disengage ,the local road works Nissan bakkie stopped and they fitted there spare wheel to my Ford ranger, they then went ahead and gave the cut tyre to JWL Motors before they closed.I had to drive at 20km hour got there in time. The tyre had to be fitted with a cater and tube ,it became late and decided to sleep over, went to the Hotel later in evening for supper the lady gave me Boerekos for R50. This is now top class Karoo Hospitality and generosity .I sincerely appreciate this help. God bless you all

Basic petrol pump and one of the only one around for many miles in any direction.

A very quaint retro filling station in the side road of Sutherland.

The only petrol station in town. Four pumps next to the road with compressed air. The petrol station is not open after hours but opens up at 8:00 in the morning. Service is very slow but the attendant was friendly. No toilet available for customers. No tuck shop available. Oil could be bought.

Petrol, diesel and tyre fitting available. Pretty much all the basics you need from a fuel station with the nice addition of having new tyres available. This is especially convenient given the proximity of the Tankwa Karoo National Park, which is known for its sharp stones and related tyre shredding. There is no kiosk or general retail.
