Please read this before you book with Hotel Horizon ; We stayed there for 6 nights at a price of around 800. This is not a hotel but a luxury motel, why you ask? No AC, No Fridge and no room service (no phone to call front desk). The weather was extremely hot and humid, having a no AC room in 2020 is shameful, we had difficulty sleeping for the first 3 days. The bathroom had mold stains (I took pictures) and a bad smell like if someone had smoked in it. Lastly, the sheets had small blood stains, which disgusted me from day one. And please for the sake of good sleep, please use fitted bed sheets. I understand that it's easier to remove and clean but it always gets undone when sleeping. I've been all over the world and visited many hotels and I must say that I was shocked to have visited the worst ''hotel'' in my home province. That said, I won't be returning to this place. But if you do so, I suggest you go in Winter.

Our stay at the Horizon has been wonderful. 2 minute drive to the ski hill or 5 minutes into town. The room was and clean and spacious. 1 queen bed and 2 bunk beds, perfect for a family of 4. The hotel offers a great continental breakfast in the mornings, they also have a pool and free WiFi. No mini fridge but there is an ice making and ice bucket to keep your drinks cool. I would definitely stay here again.
Great hotel for families and groups. Rooms are very cozy. Freshly renovated and has all the basics you need. We had a great panoramic window and lots of day light. Very helpful staff. Special thank you to Karina ( I hope I got name right) receptionist for been very accommodating. Continental breakfast was included in room rate (available 7-10am). Pastries, cereal, yogurt with different condiments, great fruit selection.
It was a great place to bring the kids. Beautiful clean room with small touches to make it cozy, very comfortable beds, gorgeous views! There was a wheelchair ramp, on site laundry and a ski storage room. Continental breakfast was very nice. Although the hotel was fully booked - our stay was quiet and calm. Minutes from the mountain by car. A star lost because the indoor pool area needed a little TLC. But we would stay here again.
For the price and given the location it doesn’t get much better than that in the area. Ideally located ski and nature park within 2 miles. Great beds (on the hotel side, so so on the cottage side except master) clean renovated rooms and bathrooms. Could be bigger but this is a sport resort hotel and I doubt most people stay in their room all day. One of the best (Included) continental breakfast you will find and very reasonable charge for eggs/meat extra. That alone is worth 60 all in for a family of four. We had dinner twice and the menu while compact is very good, this is not the run of the mill junk food that plague ski resort villages. Pool and hot tub area a bit dated but clean and a bonus in the area, keep in mind this is charming Sutton (Village town) not Bromont or Tremblant Very friendly staff throughout, great views from rooms and restaurant. Will come back in the summer for the tent experience.
Nice, clean place situated perfectly between town and the ski hill. Pool area was decent, and empty whenever I used it. Very relaxing place. exactly what I was after.
Nicely refurbished hotel. A bit far from the city center but a very pleasant stay.
Comfortable place to rest and relax. Great indoor pool, nice continental breakfast in the mornings. However, the hotel is very old, basics like ice machine are broken. Ice is important as in a small and remote community like Sutton, most have to pack food and supplies much of which requires refrideration especially in summer heat. So working ice machine is very important. Access to ice from the bar as an alternative is frowned upon. Fix the ice machine or change of attitude is necessary.
