Be careful when dealing with Sixt! Rented a car from Sixt, just to set the record straight, the car was good and proper Booking system is pretty user friendly too. The biggest mistake which we made was to trust this company too much. Before taking over and after handing over of the car, we took photos, checks and etc that we could have done as our due diligence to make sure there won’t be any damages that is preexisting and pushed to us. That was cleared. I didn’t thought much, but after we left Norway and returned home, the company billed us 2x the amount that was indicated while we got our cars. Feeing bill-shocked, I emailed the company, after a very Long 1 week reply, the company said I had driven more than 540km and so the extra bill was the extra mileage. And so we were reminded we booked with a 200km max mileage package. My dear Sixt, we had only arrive st Leknes Airport, with the goal and actually did went to Reine, and that was all. It was just a 16th afternoon till 18th noon rental, how in a world we will be able to use 540km!? I checked Google maps over and over again. We went from Leknes to Lofoten Museum, then to Reine on day 1 Day 2 from Reine to Å then back to Reine Day 3 from Reine to Leknes Airport We even had the petrol bill. We have proof with our phones based on our location tagging. And I find this absolutely a ripoff. If it’s a true mistake we made or an actual usage of a service I would have gladly accepted it. But that was not the case. So with my post, my purpose is to create awareness for future car renters, please do your due diligence of checking the car exterior, the mileage, getting the staff to sign on where possible and ask them to give the actual bill when you leave the rental office. Take photos and videos and it could save you at least USD200. Don’t get into the same bad situation like me. Extremely disappointed and pissed, yet we could do nothing because it’s so far away and the representatives have ignored our emails.

Très mauvais expérience, facturations de dommages sur la voiture que nous n'avions pas causées et qui étais présentes avant la location ! Ne réservez surtout pas avec cette agence !!!
