Interesting area famous for witch trials hundreds of years ago. The tortured /- executed 91 witches are now commemorated in a moving memorial setting out their names, charges and sentences in a tastefully-lit walkway culminating in a tableau of burning chair in a wooden 'chapel'. All explanations in Norwegian so pick up a guide leaflet on the way in.
